I’m a parent too, so I know how it feels to carry the mental load, the pressure, and everyone’s needs—to finally finish the day at 9:30pm and have no time for you. On paper it’s all working… but inside, you’re stretched thin and not enjoying the life you’ve built.

I live in the Pacific Standard/Daylight Time Zone (PST or PDT) in the United States. Generally my hours of availability are Monday through Friday 10am-5pm PST/PDT. I’ve worked with clients from many different time zones and 8 countries.

You don’t have to be a parent to work with me.

While most of my clients are parents (often moms), I coach women and men who resonate with my approach and want to make the most of their life. I work with moms and dads with kids at home, parents whose kids are grown, and individuals who aren’t parents yet—or don’t plan to be.

This is not parenting coaching focused on creating behavior change in a struggling child. My work is 1:1 coaching for the individual adult—helping you build inner calm & capacity, strengthen relationships, and create a life that feels abundant and enjoyable. This coaching is powerful for anyone who resonates with my approach and wants to thrive in their life. I specialize in coaching for moms and dads because parenting adds an extra layer of pressure and responsibility that often requires more intentional support. And I believe that helping parents thrive is the key to building a better world. 

All coaching sessions take place with Deb via a Zoom video call. You’ll choose between 60 minute or 75 minute sessions. Ideally they take place once a week.

Sessions are 1 to 1. That means it’s just you and me, so you can get the individual support needed to get to the root of issues & create real change. In sessions, I may use a combination of coaching approaches including traditional mindset (talking and thought-work to uncover patterns) and somatic and embodiment tools (always optional). 

Your privacy is important to me – I don’t record sessions or use A.I. notetakers. 

 What it is: It’s a Zoom video call where I guide you through a discussion of your challenges, goals & desires. I’ll share my perspective on what’s blocking you from the thriving life you desire and offer a plan for a path forward. I’ll share details about my coaching programs, answer any questions you have, and ask you if you’re interested in signing up for coaching if it feels like a good fit.

What it’s not: It’s not an awkward or pressure-filled call. I want you to feel comfortable voicing what feels right for you. I want you to end the call feeling good about your path forward, whether you decide to sign up for coaching or whether you decide it’s not a good fit. If you feel good about your decision at the end of the call, I consider that a win no matter what you decide. 

The amazing thing is that even if you decide the program isn’t a good fit for you, you can still get tremendous value from this call.

Therapy is designed to take people from unstable to stable, and focuses on healing and processing past events and trauma.

Coaching is designed to take people from stable to thriving. Coaching often addresses the past by identifying patterns that are being replayed (sometimes from as far back as childhood) but the emphasis of coaching is forward-moving and skill-building—you practice new ways to respond, set boundaries, care for yourself and create secure love in your present life. 

An analogy: a therapist is like an orthopedic doctor who treats a broken bone. A coach is like a physical therapist who helps the patient exercise & build the muscles to thrive moving forward in life. 

For people who are looking to heal trauma or who are in any sort of abusive relationship, coaching is not designed to help with that and therapy is a better option.

A coach does not work with clients to heal trauma, but a certified trauma-informed coach is equipped to help clients with healed & resolved past-trauma who want to move past stable and into thriving. Just as a physical therapist would not do surgery on a broken bone, but helps the patient to thrive afterward. And the doctor stops at healing and doesn’t help the patient do the conditioning or build the muscles to thrive. The coach and therapist have different roles.

I have 3 years post-graduate coach training and I’m a certified trauma-informed coach. I’m trained to work on the following levels: somatic, emotional, embodiment (inner child and parts work), behavioral, mindset, subconscious reprogramming (uncovering and reprogramming the patterns that have been holding you back).

  • Certified Mastery Method Coach by the Institute for Coaching Mastery (a program accredited by the International Coaching Federation)

You’ll need to block out 1 hour for a coaching call once a week for a minimum of 12 weeks. You get to decide your level of engagement beyond that.

If you want to make the change lasting and real in your life, you’ll need to implement the coaching and take the action steps you decide on in your coaching sessions. I can’t estimate the time that requires as it will be very different for different people and is highly dependent on your goals & preferences. 

I highly recommend allocating at least 15 minutes per day during the program in order to support a new way of relating to yourself and the world. 

As women, we’ve often been conditioned to put ourselves last. You’ll always be able to find a reason to put your desires on the backburner. To make time, you may need to take a step that feels new —deciding that your happiness is important and deserves to be prioritized too.
